The Ads Manager table mirrors Meta’s three-level hierarchy.
Levels
| Level | What it represents | Typical decisions made here |
|---|
| Campaign | Objective, daily budget (when CBO), and overall offer. Rows have a stacked-square icon. | Pause/resume the offer, change daily budget on CBO campaigns, audience refresh. |
| Adset | Audience, placements, and budget when ABO. Rows are indented one level under their campaign. | Pause low-performing audiences, change bids/budgets, swap lookalike sources. |
| Ad | Individual creative (image, video, copy). Rows are indented two levels and show a single-square icon plus an external-link arrow to open the ad on Facebook. | Pause fatigued creatives, duplicate winners, test new variants. |
Expanding and collapsing
- Select the chevron (
v) on any row to expand its children.
- Campaigns expand into their adsets; adsets expand into their ads.
- Use the chevron on the header to collapse everything back to campaigns.
Status toggle
Every row has a blue on/off toggle to the left of the name. Flip it to pause or resume that campaign, adset, or ad. The change is sent to Facebook immediately — you need an active My account Facebook connection (see Connect Facebook) for the toggle to be enabled.
Row colour cues
Rows are tinted based on KPI health against the configured target:
- Red tint — At least one KPI is over target (for example, CPL or CPBC).
- Yellow / amber tint — KPI in the warning band.
- No tint — On target or no target set.
The colour applies to whichever level (campaign/adset/ad) is offending so you can scan a long tree for problem spots.
Status strip
A strip below the table summarises the business context:
- GHL Timezone (for example, US/Central / UTC −5:00)
- FB Timezone (for example, CST6CDT / UTC −5:00)
- KPI — The primary target driving row colour (for example, CPBC Target $110.00 (20% threshold)).
- Rules — Number of rules Watching vs Triggered in the current period.
Mismatched GHL and FB timezones are a common cause of leads landing in the wrong day. Check this strip first if a row’s numbers look off by one day.
Totals row
The bottom Total row sums every numeric column across the visible rows so you can read budget, spend, revenue, and conversion ratios at the business level without leaving the page.
